Winners Announced

New outbound categories recognized the best
contact centres and practitioners in telemarketing field

Hong Kong,16 October 2007 - The 8th Annual Hong Kong Call Centre Association Awards Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation Ceremony organized by Hong Kong Call Centre Association (HKCCA) was held on 12 October at the Hong Kong Football Club. The competition was successfully completed with a total of 53 corporate and individual winners announced.

New Outbound Categories
As telemarketing acts as a very important role nowadays, this year, HKCCA also has expanded with the new outbound categories. Speaking at the Awards Presentation Ceremony, Mr. Sidney Yuen, Chairman of HKCCA, said: “Echoing to the development of the call center industry, we also honour those outbound contact centres to reflect the importance of telemarketing in the contact centre area. Also, we have once again witnessed another breakthrough performance by our dedicated executive members and Awards committee. The Call Centre Awards recognise the best of the best within our industry, by celebrating achievement and best practice. In addition, the Awards applaud staff accomplishments; affirm success through professional recognition and appreciation and allows customer service managers and their teams to be recognised by the community.”

Oscar Night to recognize the Best-of the Best
The Awards culminated in a Gala Dinner, one of the most prestigious contact centre events in Hong Kong. The theme of the Gala Dinner was “Oscar” to honour award winners as the “Oscars of Contact Centres”. The Gala was a stunning success. One of our Guests of Honour Mr. Charles Ng, Acting Director-General of Invest Hong Kong, congratulated the Awards winners and said: “As the outstanding representatives of the best of the industry, the call centre professionals provide others with a yardstick with which to measure their own performance and success. Sharing your experiences, the obstacles you have overcome and your successes drive your industry towards even greater heights.”

In the Gala Dinner, representatives from major local contact centres and their overseas counterparts have participated in the event. Apart from congratulating the Awards winners, they have also taken this opportunity to share their experience so as to enhance the development of industry.
